Basic Course in Ayurveda

This weekend course is for you who want a comprehensive and holistic approach to life and health, and who want to experience continuous health improvement. The course covers a wide spectrum of health related issues and provides many insights. Now available at several locations in Sweden!

Course content

The foundation of Ayurvedic medicine

A thorough review of the different personality types (Vata, Pitta and Kapha). What is the characteristic of balance or imbalance, as well as how best to balance the respective type.

Stress and Burnout

  • What can you do to feel good in a stressful environment?
  • How can we live a stressful life in a stressful society without getting stressed, while maintaining quality of life and energy?
  • How can we “get back to life" again after we have been burned-out?

Ayurveda has a lot to offer in terms of understanding more about the burnout syndrome and how it could be treated and even prevented.

Sleep and sleep disorders

Good sleep is one of the pillars of good health in Ayurveda. Lack of sleep and poor sleep quality are the cause of many health problems and reduced life quality. You get advice on how good sleep can be restored and/or maintained.

Valuable knowledge even if you currently do not have insomnia.

Weight Problems

To achieve our normal or ideal weight it is not always enough just eating the right food. According to Ayurveda there are a number of factors that should be considered; such as an enhanced digestion, regulation of metabolism, optimizing nutrient uptake and a minimal production of waste products (AMA). To achieve this, there are a variety of Ayurvedic methods.

The result is a stable and lasting weight that also brings with it a range of other health benefits and increased well-being, even for those who do not have a weight problem. The Ayurvedic method is very beneficial and fundamental to the health of us all.
